Source Sound Player

Almost exactly one year ago I announced I would be "remaking" Half-Life Sound Selector. I set to work and had a user interface completed in a day. The next day I started on the actual program functions. I had a significant portion of the program completed - one could load, save, and edit sound lists. The actual functionality of the program was saved for another rainy day.

That rainy day never came, sadly, and I forgot about the project and formatted my computer, losing all the work I had accomplished. I only realized what I had done when I received a frantic message over YouTube asking if I had completed the program. I decided I would start again, fresh, with new ideas. Alas, the project once again slipped away from me, until three days ago when I finally slapped myself in the face (metaphorically, of course) and started work once again.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you a working beta of Source Sound Player.

This beta is a mashup of three days of late night coding sessions and coffee binges. Everything *seems* to work, but don't be expected if it crashes here and there or doesn't do something right. For this reason I HIGHLY recommend using audio files that you have BACKED UP. (If it does crash and you get an error, POST IT HERE SO I CAN FIX IT).

As far as configuration goes it's exactly the same as HLSS, down to the CFG script it uses. The game directory should also be set the same. I'm working on getting some sort of wiki or tutorial up at the main site (http://www.bit.ly/sourcesoundplayer) but until then the tutorials for HLSS will work. If you have questions, comments, or suggestions post them below.
